Purpose
The methods based on complex systems have demonstrated good performance in texture and shape analysis of objects in images, often with better results than state-of-the-art methods. This work aims to improve, create and verify which methods based on complex systems are more sensitive to phenotypic plasticity in microscopic images of leaf plants. The complete research will be applied on at least one specie.
Hypothesis
The application of theory and methods based on complex systems are useful tools to evaluate the plasticity of plants in digital microscopic images.
